Therapeutic Writing for Breast Cancer Patients - How to Get Started If You're Not a "Writer"

You have read or heard that writing should you do as a patient of breast cancer, feel better. But you're not a "writer" - May and you feel quite intimidated by the possibility of creating poetry in particular. Here is a simple way to get started with writing projects therapy alone.
First of all, stop worrying about the "good" writing. It is not English class. You will be able to write the way you speak, and chances are that you can only speak well.
So, here are some tips to get you started:
1) Just write what comes into your mind
Take a pen you like (or out of the computer) and start writing whatever comes to pamet.Ključ to write. Do not censor.
2) Add more detail
After some time, look at what you wrote, and try to expand the interesting parts. Add detalja.Više more specific you get, the better. If you still have problems, or if you just want to expand your options, take a tape recorder, and maybe a friend, and talk with a friend, a tape recorder is turned on.
Talk about your feelings, tell a story, talk about what is like to sit in the doctor's office and that he or she allow them and Haw on what could be wrong with you. Or write about what you want people to say when you try to make you feel better and have a tendency to backfire.

This is a great exercise that I ask my students to do when writer's block. Most of the time, they were quite impressed by the eloquence of his newly discovered, and that builds confidence in their writing abilities.
4) No matter what you write is right to write
This is your writing, so do not sweat it. Everything you write is wrong. Of course, not everything you write is ready for prime time, but this is not the issue here.
5) Share your writing
Share your writing? Of course! You do not have to if you want, but this may be one of the most exhilarating and self-empowering things you'll ever do.
Find a writing group or an open Mike reading, choose a short piece of writing you are proud, take a deep breath and read your poem, your story or a short essay aloud.
